Thirty days. No conditions.

The whole policy

• Thirty days from the charge. Not fourteen. An AI answer varies run to run, so a fortnight is two scans on the entry plan — not long enough to tell whether anything moved. The window is the length it takes to know.
• No conditions. Not “unused only”. A measurement has no value until it is used, so a policy that only refunds the unused thing would refund nothing worth refunding.
• The whole amount. Inside thirty days you get all of it, whatever you spent it on. Outside thirty days, nothing is pro-rated — one rule, no arithmetic.
• Cancelling ends the renewal, not the month. You keep what you paid for until the period ends. We do not cut access short and keep the money.

What happens to your scans

A refund does not delete anything. Your scans, your history and your fixes stay exactly where they are, and the account drops to the free plan at the end of the period. If you want the data gone as well, that is a separate, deliberate action and it is on the privacy page — we will not quietly erase your record because you asked for money back.

If you would rather take a copy first, every account can export everything it holds before it goes.

Write to hello@answermend.com from the address on the account. There is no form, no retention flow and no offer designed to keep you — one message, and a person reads it.

Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record, so the refund is issued through them and lands on the card that was charged. What each plan costs is on the pricing page.

Why it reads like this

This product exists to say what it could not measure rather than print a confident zero. A refund policy hedged with conditions would be the opposite of that, and it would protect us from very little — the engine calls behind a month of scanning cost a few dollars. We would rather be easy to leave than expensive to trust.
