Terms of use

Terms

These terms cover the free tools and this website. There is nothing to buy yet, so there is nothing here about billing, refunds or subscriptions — when a paid plan exists, those terms will be written then and will apply only from that point.

Governing law. These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

What you may do with the tools

The four generators are free to use, for your own sites and for sites you work on for other people. There is no account, no signup, no usage limit and no attribution requirement. Output you generate is yours — paste it into a client’s site, put it in a deliverable, charge for the work. We claim nothing over it.

What the tools do and do not promise

No vendor controls what an AI model answers, and we do not claim to. Adding schema, a robots.txt rule or an llms.txt file makes your site easier for a machine to read correctly. It does not guarantee that any assistant will mention you, cite you or recommend you, and anyone promising otherwise is selling something they cannot deliver.

The generators check that what they produce is well formed. They do not check that it is true. A schema block describing a business that does not exist is valid markup and a bad idea; that judgement is yours.

Specifically on llms.txt: Google’s documentation states the file is not used for Google Search, and an independent study of 137,000 domains found 97% of valid files were never requested. The tool ships anyway because people ask for it, and the page says all of this plainly.

Accuracy, and the limits of it

The guides and tool pages are written carefully and corrected when they are wrong — several were corrected the day before this page was written. They are still general information about a fast-moving area, not advice about your particular business, and no page here creates a professional relationship.

Availability

This is a small operation. Pages and tools may be unavailable, changed or withdrawn without notice. Nothing here is offered with an uptime commitment, and none is implied by the tools happening to work when you tried them.

No warranty, and what that means in practice

The tools and this site are provided as is. To the extent the law allows, there is no warranty of any kind, and we are not liable for loss arising from using them — including anything that follows from publishing output they generated. Check what you paste before you paste it, exactly as you would with any file from any source.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not permit it to be limited.

Acceptable use

Do not use the tools to generate markup that misrepresents a business, to attack this site or its infrastructure, or to script the pages at a volume that degrades them for anyone else. The generators run in your browser, so the first of those is the only one you can really do at scale — and it is the one most likely to get a site distrusted by the engines it was aimed at.

Your own site, your own obligations

What you publish on your site is governed by your own legal position — your privacy notices, your customer commitments, your jurisdiction. Output from a tool here does not change any of that.

Changes

These terms may change. The date above is the only version marker. Continuing to use the site after a change means the current version applies.
