What this does not do

Every line here is a decision rather than a gap waiting to be filled. If you need one of these things, buy it somewhere else instead of waiting on us.

Surfaces that cannot be measured

“There is no way to ask” and “nobody has built it yet” are different sentences, and only the first one is true of these three.

  • Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode. No public way to ask for them. The only route is a paid vendor scraping the results page, and a scrape breaks quietly. Named as not measurable rather than left off the engine list without comment — and if it is ever added, it arrives through a paid results-page vendor and is labelled as one.
  • The shopping interfaces inside the assistants. Those surfaces are not exposed programmatically to anybody, so nothing here reports on them. What can be read is whether products come up in ordinary answers.
  • Amazon’s shopping assistant. There is no verified programmatic route to it, so it does not appear as a measured surface here and will not until there is one.

Assistants the check does not ask

The check asks ChatGPT and Gemini, on every plan. No plan includes Perplexity. None includes Claude, Copilot, Grok or anything else either.

That is a choice, not an oversight. Tracking breadth is a funded arms race in this category and we would lose it, so it is not the thing being competed on. An assistant gets added when its real per-call cost has been measured against a live key — putting an unmeasured engine behind a published promise commits to a bill nobody has seen.

Numbers you will not be shown

  • A single blended visibility figure. It would hide the difference between being remembered and being read, which is the difference the whole check exists to surface.
  • A ranking position. An AI answer has no positions in it. A rank would be something we made up and then printed in a confident font.
  • A percentage off a single pass. Why.
  • Prompt volume. How many people ask an assistant a given question is not published by anybody. Any volume figure here would be modelled and then presented as measured.

Promises that will not be made

  • That you will get mentioned, cited or placed. Nobody controls what these systems answer. What can be promised is the artifact and the measurement: the files, the questions, the states, re-run honestly.
  • That a fix caused a change. The most that can be said is measured change after a fix was applied, in those words. Anything stronger is a causal claim on a system nobody can see inside.

Things this is not

  • Not a rank tracker, a keyword database or a backlink checker. Those exist, they are good, and this is not one of them.
  • Not an enterprise platform. No single sign-on, no procurement track, no security questionnaire. That is an exclusion rather than a roadmap item — if a vendor questionnaire is part of how you buy, this is the wrong product and it is cheaper for both of us to say so here.
  • Not something that edits your website. Every fix comes back as a file or a block you paste in, or forward to whoever built the site. Nothing changes on your end unless you change it.

What is not done with your scan

A scan record holds your brand, your competitors and precisely where you are losing. It is not put on a public page, not written up as a case study, and not folded into any aggregate figure without your separate, explicit permission — and that permission is never bundled into terms of use, because permission buried in a document nobody reads is not permission.

No model is trained on it. The privacy page is the binding version of this paragraph.

What is not built

There is no checkout on this site. The free check is one scan at the moment you ask for it — nothing re-runs on a schedule, and nothing arrives by email. The pricing page lists what has a number and what does not, including the parts that have a price and no way to pay it.

If this page did not answer it

Write to the one inbox. There is no chat widget, no ticket queue and no phone number — a message arrives with the person who wrote the thing you are asking about, and gets answered by hand. Send the domain you checked, what came back, and what you expected instead. That difference is the whole message.

Any question that arrives twice becomes a page here, so writing in is also how this section gets longer.
